During the TGE period, Plasma hit over 10 billion dollars in FDV - and our presalers made serious profits on their investments. That moment was real, and it belonged to this community.
We apologize for the poor price of the token - to everyone still holding, and especially to everyone who never got back what they put in. Despite everything the team and this community poured into the project, the chart went one way.
The honest ledger holds two entries. A big chunk of the blame is ours. And the market itself has been terrible - so unstable for years now that even good effort struggled to find a floor.
A new team has taken over Plasma - and we will not sunset. There is no plan to do that, whatsoever.
What we need now is volume - and with that in mind, we have removed a chunk of locked XPL from the DAO treasury and decided to distribute it directly to the community, as an incentive for the horrendous price the token has endured.
Every investor can claim an allocation capped at 30 percent of the total amount they initially put in - whether during the presale or as a secondary buyer. We know it is not a lot. But it is our humble way of apologizing.
The Plasma team will never ask for your wallet password, private key, recovery phrase, or seed phrase - not on this site, not by email, not in any DM. Always confirm you are on the official claim page before connecting your wallet, and treat any request for your phrase as a scam.
